MONEY TRANSFER IN 25 CURRENCIES

II. Discription

Money transfer in 25 currencies service is one of exchanging customer’s amount in a foreign currency into another foreign currency or customer’s amount in VND into one of 25 foreign currencies then transferring it abroad for the purposes permitted by applicable Foreign Exchange Control Regulations.

III. Participants

Individuals or organizations have demand of international payment by TTR for the purposes permitted by applicable Foreign Exchange Control Regulations.

• Foreign money transfer in 25 currencies service is designed to meet customers’ demand of international payment by TTR, especially payments in foreign currencies which unquoted by SCB.
• Diversified foreign currencies: include 08quoted foreign currencies by SCB (USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, SGD, JPY, CHF) and 17 unquoted foreign currencies such as CZK, DKK, HKD, HUF, INR, KRW, KWD, MXN, NOK, PHP, SAR, SEK, THB, ZAR, FJD, NZD, PGK.

V. Procedures

• Customers contact SCB’s branch/transaction offices for exchange rate at the time of transaction.
• Presenting documents proving the purpose of remittance as stipulated by applicable Foreign Exchange Control Regulation. For the new corporate customers, please provide us with your company’s legal document.
• Fulfill application of foreign money transfer and application for buying and transferring foreign currency abroad (in case of individuals) or application for buying foreign currency (in case of corporate) in SCB’s form.
