IMMEDIATE DEPOSIT – BIG CHANCE FOR REWARD

From May 20th 2010 to June 30th 2010 inclusive, SCB implements the program of  “Immediate Deposit – Big Chance For Reward” for all customers making new common deposit in VND or USD with all forms of interest payment and the term of deposit from 01 month to 13 months. Accordingly, besides preferential policies of products, customers also have chance to join a lucky draw, with the total prizes of more than VND 1.4 billion.

I. Participants

Individual customers making new common deposit in VND or USD with all forms of interest payment and the term of deposit from 01 month to 13 months.

VND 10,000,000 or USD 1,000

1. Receiving gift immediately when participating in the program

When participating in this program, with every VND 30 million or USD 3,000 per term of 01 month, Customer will receive a gift of VND 10,000.

=> The more money with longer term Customer deposits, the more valuable gifts Customer receives.

With an abundant gift portfolio, Customer has the right to choose one or many kinds of gifts in the portfolio of this program; partially or totally convert the value of gift into cash.

2. Preferences for rollovered Customers

On maturity, if Customer redeposits in the common savings products with term of 01 month or over, Customer can get cash premium with the rate of 0.36%/pa for VND deposit and 0.12%/pa for deposit in USD. Cash premium will be calculated as follows:

Besides the interesting promotions of “Immediate Deposit – Big Chance For Reward”, Customer still enjoys the preferential policies for the common savings products (if eligible).

IV. Regulations

• Condition for receiving a lucky number: With this program, Customer will have the random lucky number according to the multiple of amount of deposit relevant to the prescribed term of deposit:
  • Every VND 10,000,000 or USD 1,000 with the term from 10 months to 13 months/ 1 lucky number.
  • Every VND 15,000,000 or USD 1,500 with the term from 06 months to 09 months/ 1 lucky number,
  • Every VND 20,000,000 or USD 2,000 with the term from 03 months to 05 months/ 1 lucky number,
  • Every VND 30,000,000 or USD 3,000 with the term from 01 months to 02 months/ 1 lucky number,
• Accumulating the balances of many savings books to receive more lucky numbers is not allowed.
• The program will finish earlier than stipulated if all the lucky numbers are issued.
• SCB will organize the lucky draw at 09:00 A.M. on 03rd July 2010 at the Head Office – Saigon Commercial Bank 193 – 203 Tran Hung Dao Str., District 1, Hochiminh City (or other suitable venue informed 03 days in advance) under the supervision of representatives of Ministry of Industry and Trade, Customers and SCB.
• Result will be published on Thanh Nien Newspapers on 06th July 2010; website of SCB: www.scb.com.vn, transaction units of SCB since 06th July 2010 and informed directly to the lucky Customers.
• 30th July 2010 is the last date that SCB give the prizes to lucky Customers. After that day, if SCB can’t contact with lucky Customer or Customer doesn’t come to receive the prize, SCB will handle it according to the current Vietnamese law.
• Withdrawal prior to maturity date is not allowed, except cases of force majeure as: unexpected accident, natural calamity, flood, fire, funeral, emigration … In such cases, customer will enjoy the interest rate of common demand savings deposit stipulated at the time of deposit; at the same time, Customer must repay the lucky number to SCB (if before the time of lucky draw) and all the value of promotion, gift and the prizes received (if any) in this program.
• Other regulations are subject to the listed regulations and SCB’s regulations.
