HUMANISTIC SAVINGS DEPOSIT

I. Product description

“Humanistic savings deposit” product is a form of medium and long-term savings deposit devoted to individual customers, especially 50-year-old-and-over customers. Customers will enjoy ladder-rung interest rates basing on the deposit balance, be presented life insurance policies, bonus interest rates increased by deposit terms for 50-year-old-and-over customers… and other promotional programs.

II. Participating objects

All individuals being Vietnamese and foreigners from 18 years old and over and legally living and working from 12 months and over in Vietnam.

III. Product features

• Deposit amount: from VND10 million or USD700 and over.
• Deposit term: 12 months up to 60 months; the interest paid monthly or at the maturity date.
• Currencies: VND and USD.
• Customers are not eligible to withdraw the principal prior to its maturity date.

V. Prominent benefits

• Presenting a ladder-rung interest rate according to the deposit balance.
• Presenting a bonus interest rate (cash) to 50-year-old-and-over customers according to the deposit term.
• Presenting a life insurance policy, in which
  • Insurance benefit: death or disablement by accident.
  • Insurance period: at the same time of customers’ deposit, maximum 5 years (the insured’s age is not more than 66 years old when ending insurance period).
  • Total insurance amount for a customer: minimum VND5 million, maximum VND1 billion.
• Presenting cash on holidays, annually significant events.
  • Customers will be presented an amount of VND30,000 in cash if depositing an amount of VND20 million (or USD1,500) per each 24-month-term-and-over passbook on holidays and significant events as follows
    • Annual National Unification (Liberation) Day (30th April): from 20th April to 28th April.
    • Annual Vietnam National Day (02nd September): from 30th August to 07th September.
    • International Day of the Elderly (01st October): from 01st October to 10th October (only applying to 50-year-old-and-over customers).
  • Customers’ current account will be credited with the above promotional amount.
    • Annually presenting convalescence trips to 25 customers maintaining the highest deposit balance among the customers joining the (in) “Humanistic savings deposit” and having the deposit balance from VND3 billion or USD190,000 and over as of 30th June each year.
    • Each customer having such above-mentioned deposit balance but being not eligible to participate (unconditional enough to join) in the convalescence trip will be presented a buying-commodities coupon of VND 500,000.
