A CUSTOMER-CARE PROGRAM FOR FEMALE CUSTOMER “THANKS FOR ROSES”

I. Objects

Female individual customers using “Intelligent Wallet” and “Eight-golden-character savings deposit” products; and corporate customers using “Ba Trieu account” (hereinafter referred as “customers”).

II. Policy content

The customer-care program for female customers “Thanks for roses” of SCB is offered to customers under method of accumulating bonus points for gifts and lucky draw on special occasions for women: International Women Day (08th March) and Vietnamese Women Day (20th October) each year.

• Customers will be awarded bonus points when depositing in “Intelligent Wallet”, “Eight-golden-character savings deposit” and “Ba Trieu account”.
• Bonus points are calculated on monthly accrued-payable interest basis (interest paid at maturity) or interest monthly received by customers (interest paid monthly).
• If accrued bonus points are more than 50 points, they can be exchanged for gifts or cash. Moreover, SCB will totalize bonus points accumulated by customers in each stage (including bonus points exchanged for gifts) to issue lucky numbers for them to join lucky draw held by SCB on 8th March and 20th October each year.

III. Rules and method of calculating bonus points

• Bonus points are calculated on monthly accrued-payable interest basis or interest received by customers using “Intelligent Wallet”, “Eight-golden-character savings deposit” and “Ba Trieu account”.
• Regulations:
  Bonus points = Interests / VND100,000
  1 bonus point = VND 1,000
• In case deposit is made in USD, monthly accrued-payable interest or real-payable interest will be exchanged for VND under TT bid rate announced by SCB at the time of payment.
• Rule for rounding:
  • 0.0 – 0.49 : 0 point
  • 0.5 – 0.99 : 1 point
• Bonus points are calculated at the end of each month. For further information on bonus points accumulated up to end of each month, customers are suggested to access to website www.scb.com.vn from the fifth day of each month.

IV. Exchanging bonus points for gifts

• Accrued bonus points are more than 50 points (equivalent to VND 50,000), customers may exchange points for gift or cash subject to gift list announced by SCB once per three months on website www.scb.com.vn and at SCB’s counters.
• Customers may exchange points for gifts 15 days after SCB announces gift list.
• Customers may receive cash in stead of gift if SCB does not announce gift list or there is no more gift at the time of exchanging points.
• Customers are required to fill out the exchanging bonus points for gifts form and send to SCB’s counters where customers receive gifts directly or by mail.
• If receiving cash, it may be cash or transferred into ““Intelligent Wallet” account, “Eight-golden-character savings deposit” account, “Ba Trieu account” or demand deposit account subject to customers’ request.
• If receiving gift, customers may directly receive at SCB’s counters or by mail subject to customers’ request (mail freight is incurred by SCB).
• Subject to the time of exchanging points for gifts, customers may be given gifts available at SCB’s counters against customers’ priority in registered form.
• At the end of each stage of accumulating points (the day of 31st January or the day of 30th September each year), SCB shall automatically exchange points into cash and transfer into customers’ demand deposit account or Ba Trieu account, or Intelligent Wallet account opened with SCB unless customers exchange all bonus points for gifts.

V. Issuing lucky numbers and lucky draw

• SCB will totalize bonus points accumulated by customers in each stage (including bonus points exchanged for gifts) to issue lucky numbers. Each 10 points will be issued a lucky number (rounding to 1).
• Prize: SCB will announce the prize at the end of each stage in accordance with marketable situation, consumer behavior of customers and issued lucky number.
• Date of lucky draw: 2 stages per annum, on 8th March and 20th October each year.

VI. Other regulations

• Customers use “Eight-golden-character savings deposit” product combining with “Intelligent Wallet” or their demand deposit accounts.
• When customers close “Eight-golden-character savings deposit” before closing the program, bonus points are still exchanged for cash/gifts and customers are issued lucky numbers.
• In case of transferring savings books, accrued bonus points are added to owner of that savings book. These points are able to be exchanged for gift and provided with lucky number as stipulated.
• After transferring, bonus points belong to the female transferee.
