OVERSEAS REMITTANCE SERVICE – WESTERN UNION
Nowadays, Western Union is the fastest money transfer service in the world. Through this service, local beneficiaries may receive money within 5 minutes after completion of all remittance procedures of senders abroad.
This service is simple and convenient. For any requirements on money transfer to Vietnam from abroad, customers are required to follow up the below process:
- Contact the nearest transaction office providing Western Union service.
- Fill out the “To send money” form, keeping the receipt bearing “money transfer control number” (including 10 ciphers)
- Inform beneficiary of transferred amount and money transfer control number.
Within a few minutes, beneficiary can receive money at all of SCB’s transaction points nationwide.
Money receipt through Western Union service
As receiving money transfer control number informed by sender, customers can contact any of the nearest transaction point of SCB to present their ID/PP/Driving license and provide the right money transfer control number and fill out the “To receive money” form.
Money is fully paid in USD or VND at the customers’ request.
